To hit the target 60% field capacity for standard fruiting blocks:

Calculate Water: Mix 1 part dry Masters Mix with 1.4 parts water by weight (e.g., 400g dry pellets + 600ml water = 1kg hydrated block).
Hydrate: Add hot or warm water to the pellets. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until fully expanded into soft sawdust.
Mix & Bag: Thoroughly mix to ensure even moisture distribution, then pack into grow bags equipped with 0.2-micron filter patches.
Sterilise: Pressure cook at 15 PSI (121°C/249.8°F) for 2.5 hours. Allow to cool completely inside the cooker before inoculating with grain spawn.
