Specially formulated for high performance, this mix combines the water-retention power of coarse vermiculite, the fibrous structural matrix of washed coco coir, and essential calcium and sulfur from agricultural gypsum.

Each batch is pre-hydrated to optimal field capacity—ensuring maximum water delivery to your mycelium without the risk of pooling water or anaerobic bacteria—and pasteurised to eliminate unwanted pathogens while retaining beneficial micro-organisms.

How to Use (Spawn to Bulk)

1. Always work in a clean workspace with freshly sanitised hands and gloves.
   Prep Equipment: Clean your tub or growing container thoroughly with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
2. Mix Spawn & Substrate: Combine your fully colonised grain spawn with the CVG substrate at your preferred ratio (a 1:1 to 1:3 spawn-to-substrate ratio by volume works best).
3. Layer & Level: Gently mix the layers together, then apply a thin top layer of pure CVG to cover any exposed grain. Lightly pat down the surface so it is flat and uniform.
4. Incubate: Seal your tub and let the mycelium colonize the substrate in a clean, dark area at 20°C–24°C (68°F–75°F) until fully established before initiating fruiting conditions.
