Hydrated lime (Calcium hydroxide) is added to increase the pH of your substrates during pasteurisation. This is Food Grade Pickling Lime.
Directions:
1g/litre of water. Not to worry if more than 1g is added - this will not affect the process. It will remain as sediment in the water.
Keep dry when not in use.
